contamination control

High-performance garments protecting cleanrooms from human contamination.

Discover our new cleanroom fabrics, Roca and Carezza, made from post-industrial waste.

Contamination control

30 years of validated performance, trusted by the world’s leading cleanroom industries

In every cleanroom, people are the greatest potential source of contamination. Even the simple act of moving releases microscopic particles, fibers, and electrostatic charges that can compromise sensitive processes or products.

With over 30 years of expertise, we design and produce high-performance cleanroom garments that set new standards in contamination control and regulatory compliance.

Our reusable cleanroom garments combine durability and advanced protection for all cleanroom classes and industries, from microelectronics and optics to pharmaceuticals, automotive and food processing. Each fabric is tested and validated according to key international standards, including IEST RP CC003.5, GMP Annex 1 and IEC 61340, ensuring reliable protection and lasting performance.

protective garments categories we supply for

bacterial protection

We serve and protect industries such as pharmaceuticals, laboratory, biotechnology, medical devices, operating theatres and food processing.

Our cleanroom garments used in aseptic and non-aseptic environments perform to the strictest quality standards, safeguarding the reliability and safety in production.

ESD protection

We serve and protect industries such as aerospace, microelectronics, cell production and optics.

Our ESD garments protect sensitive electronic devices and ensure reliability and safety by using high-quality conductive fabrics in accordance with IEC 61340.

personal protection

We serve and protect industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and operating theatres, where both contamination control and personal protection are critical.

Our cleanroom garments are engineered to provide reliable protection against chemical exposure, fluid splashes, or fire and explosion hazards while remaining fully compliant with controlled cleanroom requirements.
They are suitable for high-risk pharmaceutical environments such as active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production, cytotoxic drug processing, ATEX-classified zones and surgical applications requiring validated surgical gowns.

tested, validated and certified

Through our validation process we make sure that every garment, from design to delivery, meets the highest international standards.

readily available to protect what matters

Our reusable cleanroom garments from stock provide a fast and practical solution when you need validated performance without the lead time of a made-to-order garment. Each item is pre-tested and approved according to our defined quality, performance, and durability criteria, ensuring reliable use in controlled environments.

reducing cleanroom waste

Alsico's cleanroom garments are designed to be reusable, validated for multiple washing and sterilisation cycles, and manufactured in our own production facilities. This reusable model significantly reduces material waste compared to single-use alternatives, while maintaining consistent contamination control performance throughout the garment lifecycle.

We are also developing cleanroom fabrics made from post-industrial textile waste. Our latest fabrics, Roca and Carezza, use polyester derived from manufacturing by-products and undergo the same validation and testing as our existing range. When garments reach end-of-life, our closed-loop recycling programme collects and converts them into new raw materials through our ARX circular economy initiative.

an award-winning innovation
for cleanroom environments

In cleanrooms around the world, people work on innovations that improve our lives. However since Annex 1 requires that facial skin should be covered at all times, the working circumstances inside those cleanrooms have become even more challenging.

Don’t you agree these people deserve an innovation that improves their working lives?

frequently asked questions

A reliable cleanroom garments supplier should offer garments that are tested and validated against recognised international standards such as IEST-RP-CC003.5, GMP Annex 1, and IEC 61340. Look for a supplier with in-house laboratory and body box testing capabilities, a documented garment lifecycle approach, and experience across your specific industry and cleanroom classification. The ability to customise garments for fit, fabric, and function is also important for ensuring both compliance and operator comfort.

Reusable cleanroom garments are designed to maintain consistent filtration efficiency, barrier performance, and fabric integrity across many validated washing and sterilisation cycles. This makes them a more sustainable and cost-effective solution compared to single-use alternatives, while delivering equal or superior contamination control when properly managed through a structured garment lifecycle programme.

Alsico provides cleanroom garments across three core protection categories: contamination protection, which prevents particle and microbial release into the cleanroom; ESD protection, which safely dissipates electrostatic charges in sensitive electronics environments; and personal protection, which shields the wearer against chemical, liquid, or thermal hazards while maintaining cleanroom compliance. All garments are tested and validated in our in-house laboratory.
