Specialists in large scale, custom-made and protective workwear solutions for businesses that need to stand out

Alsico is unique in the world of workwear, we are specialists in delivering extremely complex workwear solutions for companies that need more than off-the-shelf workwear and uniforms. We work with our customers on creating custom made solutions for teams across many environments and locations. Starting with our academy, we create our own technologically advanced fabrics and work closely with customers on their ideal garment needs. Backed by our obsession with sustainability, we are driven to always do the right thing, at all times, and for the right reasons.

how we are disrupting the world of workwear

For alsico, this is not about reinventing how workwear is made. It is how we have always worked. We have never held huge amounts of stock or created unnecessary garments just in case a sale comes through. We are a made-to-order business, working alongside our customers with a balanced and considered approach to production. Only stocking what is needed, only making what is asked for.

Gauthier Siau, CEO of the alsico group

    Our sustainably focused workwear model

This approach helps avoid unnecessary waste and reduces the risk of garments ending up in landfill or incineration. Because our protective workwear is made to order, quality is exceptionally high, extending garment lifespan and performance in real working environments. When needed, we operate repair and reuse initiatives that keep garments in use for longer and reduce the need for replacement.

At the end of their life, we take garments back and remake them into yarn that is used in new alsico garments, supporting a circular workwear model and responsible manufacturing.

Simply put, we do not believe in waste.

Helping the world's biggest companies stay protected in the most challenging environments

AcelorMittal trust alsico to deliver their complex protective garment needs.

We provide customised solutions for all sectors

Protecting the workers of the world with industry-leading workwear for nearly 100 years. We specialise in creating garments that help protect the wearer, across healthcare, contamination control, high visibility, FR and arc flash, anti-static, and garments for the military and the police. Our mission is to ensure the workers of the world can perform at their very best day in, day out.

    trusted by our laundries

Keeping clothes in use longer with our laundry partners

One of our most successful partnerships in sustainability is our partnerships with laundries, ensuring our customers’ garments are kept clean and neatly finished but also in use for as long as possible. When garments are damaged, they return to us for repairs and are then put back into circulation. Only when repairs are no longer possible, do we consider the garment to have reached its ‘end of life’, at which point we begin the recycling process.

Supporting the NHS in transforming healthcare uniforms

NHS Supply Chain trusts alsico to manufacture and deliver the new NHS Healthcare Uniform, one of the largest uniform rollouts in the UK.

If we want to change the world, we must act

Change does not come from intention alone. It comes from movement,
from bold choices, from doing what has not yet been done.

Alsico has been working tirelessly to develop a framework that enables operations
of our scale to do everything we can to reduce our impact on the world around us.

Our ambition is a fully circular supply chain, where alsico garments are collected, recycled and returned to production through validated standards, collaboration and closed-loop sourcing.

Vincent Siau, Head of the alsico academy

    Our journey to closed loop

Alsico is driven to find solutions that not only protect the workers of the world, but also the planet we live on. As a global brand, we are acutely aware of our responsibilities and work tirelessly to solve the most challenging sustainability demands. Our goal is to achieve 90% preferred fibres by 2040, and our first major step has recently been realised, launching our innovative circular garment made from 65% recycled polyester, made from our own end-of-life garments.
