alsico among nominees for Changemaker recognition by De Tijd
Our circular solutions have not gone unnoticed. We are proud to share that alsico has been featured by De Tijd, Belgium’s leading financial newspaper, among the nominees for Changemaker recognition. This highlights a selection of 30 Belgian companies with the best solutions to help combat the climate crisis, alongside sustainability champions who also excel in social responsibility.
advancing circular workwear
Our focus is on our efforts to push circular workwear forward. We are developing garments made from recycled materials and working towards a fully closed-loop system. A key step in this journey is our ambition to make 100 percent recycled polyester the new standard in our industry, transforming textile waste into high performance workwear.
innovation in action
Innovation and responsibility go hand in hand. Our academy experts are tasked with creating more responsible and more comfortable fabrics, working alongside our design teams to create garments fit for the future.
For years, our ambition has been to make the textiles we use fully circular. Ultimately, we want to stop using polyester from fossil sources and even move beyond recycled PET bottles, towards polyester recovered from existing garments.

building the future today
Being named among these 30 Belgian companies reinforces our belief that circularity is not a future concept. It is something we are building today together with our partners and customers.
