alsico's ESG report

turning our ESG commitments
into measurable progress

Find out how we are transforming the way we source materials, produce garments and run our operations, with progress for people and the planet.

responsibility woven into everything we do

We believe the future of industry depends on respecting the planet’s boundaries and protecting basic human rights. And we take that responsibility seriously. By weaving environmental, social, and economic priorities into our everyday decisions, we’re working to create workwear, and a business, that contributes positively to society.

alsico's ESG Report

We're proud to present our 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, highlighting alsico Group's achievements in sustainability, inclusivity, and ethical practices. This report reflects our dedication to reducing environmental impact, empowering our workforce, and upholding the highest standards in everything we do.

our impact on the planet

reducing our environmental impact

Compared to our 2022 base year, our overall emissions remain 4,5% lower. While emissions increased compared to the previous year as our business grew, we continued implementing measures to reduce our environmental impact and improve the efficiency of our operations.

Our approach to materials also evolved further. In 2025, 37% of the fibres we used were what we define as preferred: either made from renewable resources or non-virgin fossil fuel synthetics. This shift is part of our broader goal to make more conscious choices in material sourcing and gradually reduce our reliance on conventional virgin materials.

taking responsibility for every garment

We also recognise that our responsibility doesn’t end at the point of sale. That’s why we’re investing in systems through our arx initiative to support the return of garments at end-of-life. In 2025, we were able to take back 104 tonnes of garments. While the number remains modest compared to what we put on the market, it is a starting point as we work toward more circular approaches and infrastructure to support larger-scale take-back and reuse in the future.

Designed for today. Responsible for tomorrow.

Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. Every step we take helps us reduce our impact and create better products, better workplaces and a better future.

commitment to quality and ethical standards

We see ethical employment as a core part of sustainable business. Across our global sites, we are committed to ensuring safe, fair, and respectful working environments, supported by a strong stance against child labour and continuous health and safety improvements.

To guide and evaluate these efforts, we work with the OEKO-TEX® STeP certification, currently held by our sites in Madagascar, Laos, Tunisia, and Morocco. In 2025, we've also expanded our certification to Mexico, reinforcing consistent standards across our operations.

well-being and recognition

Beyond training, we also focus on well-being and recognition. Across our sites, we implemented various local initiatives, ranging from flu vaccination campaigns to summer camps for employees’ children, from budget management workshops to celebrations of long-serving staff. These activities are designed to create a workplace culture where people feel valued, heard, and supported.

we focus on creating a positive impact on the environment and the people

As a company, we want to contribute to an economy that respects the planet's boundaries and guarantees basic social rights. We want to take this responsibility by systematically including ecological, social, and economic considerations in our daily policy.

Our olive oil production

In the olive groves of Tunisia, our colleague Ridha Souissi and his father Tijeni produce extra virgin olive oil from their family garden, carrying on a tradition rooted in care and craftsmanship. As a proud family-owned company, alsico is proud to support their work and the values it represents.
