Supply Chain & Purchasing Expert

To strengthen our Supply Chain Team, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Supply Chain & Purchasing Expert who can take our supply chain to the next level. In this role, you combine analytical insight with market knowledge, build strong supplier relationships, and optimize purchasing processes with a focus on reliability, cost control, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities

Strategic purchasing & supplier management: Negotiate with national and international suppliers on pricing, contract terms, supply security and service levels, while building long-term partnerships.

Project organization & internal coordination: Lead complex internal projects in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring the availability of raw materials and components.

Supply chain planning & forecasting: Analyze collections and trends, accurately forecast raw materials and related components, and proactively anticipate future needs to avoid production disruptions.

KPI management & reporting: Develop, monitor and adjust key performance indicators such as lead time, responsiveness, inventory turnover, service level and cost, and report regularly to senior management.

Process optimization & digitalization: Initiate and implement improvement projects and digital solutions to streamline and enhance supply chain processes.

Risk management: Identify supply chain risks such as supply uncertainty or price volatility, and develop proactive mitigation plans to ensure continuity.

Teamwork & leadership: Actively contribute to the Supply Chain Team, share knowledge and coach colleagues where needed.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent through experience, preferably in supply chain, logistics, procurement or industrial economics.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in strategic purchasing and supply chain management within a production environment (experience in textile or garment manufacturing is a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proven experience in supplier management.
  • Strong analytical mindset, experienced in forecasting and KPI analysis.
  • Experience in supply chain digitalization and implementation of ERP or planning systems.
  • Hands-on mentality combined with strategic insight and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
