how alsico is making a difference at Villa Rozerood
Villa Rozerood recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. What began as a unique initiative in Belgium has grown into an essential respite care home for families with a seriously ill child, where 1,275 children and their families have found a place to rest, recharge and reconnect.
Villa Rozerood is the only respite care home in Belgium focused on family-centred child care. It is a place where families can stay together, where care is shared, and where parents are given the space to let go for a while. What makes Villa Rozerood truly special goes beyond care alone. It is a place where there is room to laugh, to enjoy life, and to recharge. A place where families feel supported and carried by dedicated staff members, countless volunteers, sponsors and everyone who helps make this initiative possible. A unique place in Belgium.
